ABOUT US
Gone Scrappin In Bloom is located inside a unique heritage building in Rossburn, MB.
Peikoffs Store was first built in 1909 and was
owned by the Peikoff family and was the local general store. The store burned
down in April, 1940. Construction of a new building was completed by August,
1940. In 1950 it was purchased by Sam Nataros in 1955 Wally & Jean ("Jeanie P")
Perchaluk purchased the store. It was a grocery and general supplies store that
became
known as the "Peoples Store".
In 1996 new owners Kathy & Bert Swann called it
the Country Store. After a variety of renovations inside were completed it
opened as an old fashioned restaurant and ice cream shop and sold
locally made
items, quilting and sewing supplies.
Kelly Hunter began Gone Scrappin' in 2003 and
rented space at her parents Rossburn Flowers store on Main Street. The business
soon outgrew its little store and in 2008 she purchased this heritage building
and the Rossburn Flowers business to combine the entire venture under the new
name of Gone Scrappin' In Bloom.
Kelly was raised in Rossburn and currently
resides in town with her husband Brett
and their three children.
